Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Doctor Doom, King of Latveria to convert typal combat aggression into card filtering and direct life drain. The game plan focuses on establishing low-cost Villain creatures early, casting Doctor Doom on Turn 4, and utilizing combat connive triggers to sculpt the hand while growing attacker power. As lands are discarded to connive or mayhem costs, Doom directly drains each opponent's life total. By Turn 6, the deck introduces powerful typal multipliers and payoff engines like The Squadron Sinister, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Living Laser to create a wide, evasive assault. While the list excels at incremental value and combat pressure, its reliance on natural draws and lack of heavy protection make it vulnerable to timely board wipes.
