Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is piloted by Bartolomé del Presidio, who provides a free, instant-speed sacrifice outlet directly in the command zone. The deck operates as a hybrid aristocrats and reanimator engine, utilizing efficient self-mill creatures and spells to load the graveyard with high-impact permanents. It achieves victory by assembling recursive loops between creatures like Sun Titan or Boonweaver Giant and death-trigger auras such as Kaya's Ghostform or Angelic Renewal. Once looped with Bartolomé del Presidio, aristocrat drain pieces like Zulaport Cutthroat, Marionette Apprentice, or Bastion of Remembrance drain all three opponents to zero life instantly. With a solid suite of two-mana mana rocks and deep functional redundancy across recursion and sacrifice outlets, the deck consistently threatens a Turn 6 table kill. It maintains strong resilience against board wipes by treating the graveyard as an active resource pool, though it remains vulnerable to targeted graveyard exile.
