Format: Commander

Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jund (BRG) value/midrange built around The Reaper, King No More, a theft commander who stamps -1/-1 counters and steals those creatures when they die. The deck accelerates with dorks, rituals, and sacrifice spells, then uses Birthing Pod and tutors to find high-end threats like Etali, Archon of Cruelty, and Vein Ripper. Secondary wins come from repeated death triggers with Blood Artist/Vein Ripper and board wipes like Blasphemous Edict that also feed the commander's theft. The commander doubles as a mana battery when sacrificed to Burnt Offering or Sacrifice. There is no dedicated hidden commander; Etali and Sephiroth are payoff bombs. The deck's consistency is exceptionally high, but it lacks an infinite kill, so it wins through accelerated combat and life drain.
