The Master, Bulk with Skulk by user3695857

Format: Commander

Commander: The Master, Mesmerist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir deck helmed by The Master, Mesmerist blends goad politics with a skulk-based draw engine. The commander's tap ability gives an opponent's creature skulk and goads it, while your own skulk creatures (unblockable by larger creatures) trigger card draw and +1/+1 counters on The Master each time they connect. Untap effects reuse the commander's ability multiple times per turn cycle, generating steady card advantage and growing the commander into a combat threat. The deck wins through incremental commander damage or skulk beats, using goad to force opponents to attack each other and board wipes to reset the table. It has no fast combos, relying on attrition and value accumulation.
