Deck overview

This Karador, Ghost Chieftain deck is an Abzan Reanimator Combo build that utilizes the graveyard as an extended hand. The deck opens with efficient one-mana dorks to accelerate into powerful graveyard tutors such as Entomb, Buried Alive, and Natural Order. Its primary win condition revolves around sacrificing Protean Hulk, which searches the library for Samwise Gamgee, Cauldron Familiar, Viscera Seer, and Sylvan Safekeeper in a single trigger. This assembles an infinite drain loop at instant speed without passing the turn, while Safekeeper provides shroud against opposing spot removal. Secondary lines utilize Karmic Guide, Reveillark, and Saffi Eriksdotter loops or overwhelming attrition through Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Living Death. Supported by premium Abzan removal and robust recovery engines, the deck reliably shifts between grinding midrange value and executing swift Turn 4 combo finishes.
