fynn budget by nidala

Format: Commander

Commander: Fynn, the Fangbearer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a focused mono-green poison deck built around Fynn, the Fangbearer. The primary game plan is to cast Fynn early, flood the board with cheap deathtouch creatures, and convert every unblocked hit into two poison counters. Because Fynn himself has deathtouch, he can start the clock immediately even as the only attacker. The deck leans on redundancy rather than tutors: dozens of 1- and 2-mana deathtouch bodies, a handful of fight spells that use deathtouch as removal, and a proliferate package that accelerates poison for all opponents at once. There are no infinite combos; the kill is incremental. Secondary paths include Ichorspit Basilisk's toxic trigger, Infectious Bite's global poison counter, and proliferate cards like Smell Fear and Contagion Clasp. The commander is essential: without Fynn, the deathtouch swarm is mostly a defensive speed bump rather than a real win condition.
