Deck overview

This Sultai deck is helmed by Zaxara, the Exemplary, combining big mana ramp, Hydra token generation, and compact infinite mana combos. The primary strategy accelerates into Zaxara on Turn 3 using low-cost mana dorks and land ramp spells. On Turn 4, enchanting Zaxara with Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura generates infinite colored mana by tapping Zaxara for two mana and untapping it for one blue mana. This infinite mana immediately fuels massive X-spells, ending the game on the spot with Exsanguinate, lethal direct damage, or forced card draw that mills out opponents. If the primary combo is disrupted, the deck pivots smoothly into midrange beatdown by generating massive Hydra tokens doubled by Unbound Flourishing, Branching Evolution, and Doubling Season. The deck features flexible removal and counterspells to navigate interaction while maintaining high threat density across all stages of play.
