Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai midrange combat strategy that integrates artifact creature synergies with +1/+1 counter distribution. Commanded by Optimus Prime, Hero, the deck focuses on steadily growing its board using bolster triggers and dedicated counter engines like Steel Overseer and Iron Spider, Stark Upgrade. Once an army of modified artifact creatures is established, the deck transitions into a decisive offensive threat using unblockable enablers like Herald of Secret Streams, damage multipliers like Uncivil Unrest and True Conviction, or asymmetric board wipes like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye. The deck possesses strong natural resilience against traditional destroy sweepers due to Optimus Prime's automatic conversion recursion upon death, backed by mass graveyard recursion spells like Wake the Past and Brilliant Restoration. While it lacks fast combo finishes, it presents sustained, compounding combat pressure that steadily eliminates opponents across turns 6 through 8.
