Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color Superfriends control strategy piloted by Esika, God of the Tree // The Prismatic Bridge. The main goal is ramping into a Turn 4 Prismatic Bridge to cheat massive legendary creatures and planeswalkers onto the battlefield on each upkeep. Once the bridge begins operating, counter amplifiers like Doubling Season, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, and Deepglow Skate allow newly entered planeswalkers to activate their ultimate abilities on the turn they enter. Defensive pillowfort pieces like Dueling Grounds, Silent Arbiter, and Wall of Denial protect your planeswalker suite from combat damage, while stax walkers like Teferi, Time Raveler and Narset, Parter of Veils stifle opposing interaction and card draw. The deck closes games around Turn 7 by transforming planeswalkers into flying Dragons with Sarkhan the Masterless or wiping boards with Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and executing opponents with Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God.
