Rootha by luciidiity

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment is an Izzet spellslinger commander that turns a precombat instant or sorcery into a flying, hasty Elemental token. The deck's primary plan is to play Rootha early, protect her with bounce/flicker effects, and use cost reducers and Treasure producers to chain spells. Secondary paths multiply tokens with Brudiclad, Rionya, Twinflame, and Muddle, or switch to a storm/copy finish with Thousand-Year Storm and Surge to Victory. The hidden repeat engine is Rootha, Mercurial Artist, and the Emperor of Palamecia's Lord Master side is a backup reach win. The commander creates the initial threat, while Rionya and Brudiclad convert that threat into lethal board presence.
