Ureni, of the Unwritten by user2712103

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ureni of the Unwritten is a Temur dragon-cheat commander. The deck ramps to seven mana, casts Ureni, then uses its enter/attack trigger to put expensive Dragons directly into play. The primary plan is a fast army of flying Dragons that finish with extra combat and double strike; secondary plans are hard-casting Dragons behind cost reducers, and using Dragon tokens from Lathliss and Nesting Dragon. The commander is both the draw engine and the cheat engine, so keeping Ureni on board is the main tactical imperative. There is no hidden commander and no infinite combo; the deck wins through combat damage.
