Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale runs a Sultai self-mill/landfall plan: Teval mills on attack, returns lands from the graveyard, and turns every trip of a card out of the yard into a Zombie Druid token. The deck builds a wide token board with Field of the Dead, Avenger of Zendikar, and Teval's triggers, then wins with Craterhoof Behemoth. Secondary lines use reanimation (Animate Dead, Victimize, Living Death) to bring back Lumra, Aesi, The Scarab God, and Ardyn the Usurper. The Gitrog Monster acts as a hidden secondary commander, with Dakmor Salvage adding extra dredge value but no deterministic combo. Without a fast combo, the deck plays an interactive midrange game and closes through combat.
