Deck overview

This Dimir Zombie deck helmed by Gisa and Geralf combines tribal synergy, recursive graveyard value, and aristocrats combo finishes. The deck focuses on filling the graveyard through self-mill engines like Stitcher's Supplier, Ripples of Undeath, and the commander's entry trigger. Gisa and Geralf provides steady card flow by recasting dead Zombies each turn, while engines such as Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver and Undead Augur draw extra cards from dying creatures. The deck controls the board through efficient countermagic, flexible removal, and recurring edicts with Fleshbag Marauder. It clinches victory by assembling deterministic infinite drain loops using Gravecrawler combined with sacrifice outlets like Warren Soultrader or Ashnod's Altar and payoffs like Diregraf Captain, Bontu's Monument, or Rooftop Storm. Mass recursion via Living Death serves as a powerful alternate win condition that wipes opposing boards and returns an overwhelming army.
