Maleficarum 'r' Us by Max_Filth

Format: Commander

Commander: Rowan, Scion of War

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck uses Rowan, Scion of War to turn life loss into mana. You pay life with draw spells and repeatable outlets, tap Rowan, and cast large Demons like Vilis, Razaketh and Valgavoth for far less than their printed cost. Those Demons control the board and draw more cards while Herald of Slaanesh gives them haste and a discount. If combat does not close the game, you use the same life-loss discount to fire a large Exsanguinate or Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate to drain the table. Vilis, Broker of Blood acts as a hidden commander, turning every life payment into cards and fueling the next discount.
