Wolfies by lumberjackstudio

Format: Commander

Commander: Tovolar, Dire Overlord // Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Tovolar, Dire Overlord is the deck's gas: every Wolf or Werewolf that connects replaces itself, and his upkeep trigger forces night so daybound payoffs flip to their stronger back faces. The front face is the primary commander; the back face, Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge, is a combat pump plus trample enabler rather than the main build-around. Primary plan is a wide Wolf/Werewolf beatdown curve backed by Tovolar draw; secondary paths are Beastmaster Ascension quest counters, Shared Animosity, and a Craterhoof/Finale overrun. There is no hidden commander. Changeling enablers and token engines keep the pack dense, while tutors find the critical overrun.
