Commander: Varina, Lich Queen

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Varina, Lich Queen commands an Esper Zombie tribal deck designed to swarm the board, churn through the library, and overwhelm opponents through graveyard recursion and combat drain. The early plan develops low-cost Zombies to establish early board presence. Once Varina enters combat, her attack trigger loots deep into the deck, sculpting the hand while packing the graveyard with high-impact threats. The deck seals victory either by mass-reanimating a lethal horde with cards like Patriarch's Bidding and Zombie Apocalypse, triggering life-drain engines like Corpse Knight and Wayward Servant, or by leveraging anthem lords and evasion to overpower defensive lines.
