Commander: Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients commands a stompy Gruul Dragon deck centered on Enrage triggers, dice rolling, and aerial beatdown. The primary strategy ramps aggressively into Vrondiss and massive flying threats like Atarka, World Render, Terror of Mount Velus, and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient to crush opponents with double strike and combat damage. In tandem, Vrondiss converts self-damage and dice-roll triggers from cards like Barbarian Class, Component Pouch, and Desert into 5/4 Dragon Spirit tokens. Explosive burst damage from Scourge of Valkas and Warstorm Surge, alongside game-ending mass summons like Kindred Summons, rapidly closes out tables when combat stalls.
