This deck is a classic Esper control and pillowfort strategy built around Oloro, Ageless Ascetic. Oloro provides continuous passive life gain from the command zone without needing to be cast, establishing an escalating life buffer from the very first turn. The deck leverages this advantage by deploying attack taxes (Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Crawlspace) and spell-casting constraints (Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, Deafening Silence) to drastically suppress aggressive and storm strategies.
