Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck leverages Atraxa, Praetors Voice to establish an oppressive counter-based engine centered on poison and aggressive creature scaling. The primary win condition infects each opponent with an initial poison counter using cards like Prologue to Phyresis, Venerated Rotpriest, or Blighted Agent, then rapidly proliferates those counters to ten through Atraxa, Tekuthal, and combat triggers. A secondary path overwhelms the table with substantial flying threats and Angel synergies bolstered by Archangel of Thune and +1/+1 counter multipliers. Atraxa acts as a resilient lifelinking blocker and reliable end-step proliferation engine, ensuring continuous poison growth without requiring risky combat.
