Helmed by Sarulf, Realm Eater, this is a Golgari board-control deck that converts opponent deaths into a recurring, asymmetric exile wipe. A dense sacrifice suite - Plaguecrafter, Merciless Executioner, Sheoldred's Edict, Archfiend of Depravity, Sheoldred, Whispering One - feeds +1/+1 counters onto Sarulf, whose upkeep trigger then exiles every cheap nonland permanent opponents control. A mutate package (Auspicious Starrix, Dirge Bat, Gemrazer, Sawtusk Demolisher) stacks extra interaction and value directly onto the wolf, while counter synergies (Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Fangs of Kalonia, Invigorating Surge) and planeswalker finishers (Nissa, Who Shakes the World, Garruk, Cursed Huntsman) convert the locked-down board into lethal beats. Wins come from combat attrition: an enormous Sarulf, animated Nissa lands, wolf tokens, and cascaded permanents. The deck's central flaw is an almost total absence of card draw, making it rely on its draw step to keep the engine fed.
