Deck overview

This Gruul deck is led by Jolene, the Plunder Queen and focuses on weaponizing Treasure generation for mana acceleration, direct burn, and aggressive combat finishes. The primary strategy accelerates mana in the opening turns to deploy Jolene by turn 3. Once Jolene enters, her replacement ability doubles the output of Treasure generation, rapidly building an artifact stockpile. Payoffs like Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist convert artifact production into life-draining burn that damages all opponents simultaneously. The deck converts its massive mana advantage into game-ending threats by casting evasive Dragons such as Goldspan Dragon, Smaug the Magnificent, and Hellkite Tyrant, or by chaining extra combat steps with Hellkite Charger and Port Razer. While Jolene incentivizes opponents to attack each other for Treasures, the deck maintains board control through flexible removal and closes out games reliably around turn 7.
