Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The core game plan focuses on establishing early Zombie presence and ramp, deploying Gisa on Turn 4 or 5, and converting high-power creatures into wide swarms of 2/2 Zombie tokens. The deck finishes games by overwhelming opponents through combat damage buffed by Zombie lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief, supplemented by continuous life drain from Ayara, First of Locthwain, Bastion of Remembrance, and Syr Konrad, the Grim. While capable of generating massive boards and devastating attrition loops through Grave Pact, the deck relies heavily on Gisa untapping and lacks dense protective counter-magic or instant-speed shielding. Graveyard recursion tools such as Reanimate and Animate Dead allow the deck to pivot into midrange beatdown if its commander is disrupted.
