Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Tersa Lightshatter and centers on turning discard mechanics into direct damage. The game plan focuses on deploying permanents that trigger whenever cards are discarded, such as Brallin, Skyshark Rider, Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, and Cool but Rude. It leverages red wheel spells like Wheel of Misfortune, Change of Fortune, and Magus of the Wheel to discard entire hands at once, dealing devastating noncombat damage to all opponents simultaneously. Value artifacts and creatures like Containment Construct, Currency Converter, and Inti, Seneschal of the Sun convert discarded resources into extra card plays, tokens, and mana. Damage enhancers like Mechanized Warfare and The Rollercrusher Ride accelerate the damage clock. While the deck boasts strong card churning and aggressive burn output, it remains vulnerable to targeted removal and lacks stack interaction against fast combo decks.
