Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Clavileño, First of the Blessed and operates as a synergistic Vampire tribal aristocrats engine. The primary game plan revolves around casting low-cost Vampires in the opening turns, deploying Clavileño on Turn 3, and attacking on Turn 4 to convert sacrificial attackers into 4/3 flying Vampire Demons while drawing cards. As the game develops, the deck scales its board presence using token amplifiers like Teysa Karlov and Anointed Procession, backed by life-drain payoffs including Sanctum Seeker, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Bontu's Monument. The deck pressures life totals through a blend of evasive aerial combat and recurring drain triggers, achieving critical lethal threat by Turn 6 and closing games around Turn 8. Proactive tap effects from Charismatic Conqueror and Authority of the Consuls slow opposing combat while the deck converts its own dying creatures into substantial card advantage and resilient board states.
