ALELA SIDEBOARD TO NOT BE A JERK by banbanbanban

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Artful Provocateur

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an Esper stax/control deck helmed by Alela, Artful Provocateur, built around a dense enchantment and artifact theme that generates flying Faerie tokens while locking opponents out of the game through rule-of-law effects, tax pieces, and land destruction. The primary strategy is to deploy early stax elements like Rule of Law and Drannith Magistrate, then use Alela to turn every artifact and enchantment spell into a token army. The deck ultimately wins through combat, powered by Akroma's Will or Firja's Retribution, or by resolving Armageddon or Fall of the Thran with a superior board state. Secondary value comes from a robust saga suite (The Mirari Conjecture, Kiora Bests the Sea God, Elspeth Conquers Death) and the Enchanted Evening + Starfield of Nyx package to animate all permanents. The commander provides consistent token generation but is not the sole engine-the stax shell and recursion can function independently. ---
