Deck overview

Ghoulcaller Gisa turns expendable creatures into Zombie tokens, making her the deck's central engine. The deck supports that plan with Zombie lords such as Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, and Undead Warchief, token makers including Grave Titan and Army of the Damned, and recursion from Lord of the Undead, Oversold Cemetery, and Zul Ashur, Lich Lord. Ayara, First of Locthwain, Undead Augur, Midnight Reaper, and Phyrexian Arena provide additional cards or life-loss value. The deck has reasonable removal and several mana rocks, but it lacks tutors, protection, and fast interaction. Its ordinary plan begins operating around turn 6 and becomes a must-answer board around turn 9. It can overwhelm a table through repeated token growth, but it does not reliably produce an immediate three-player kill or total lockout. Its main weakness is that the commander and supporting board must survive several turns before the token advantage becomes decisive.
