Deck overview

This deck is a colorless Voltron and big-mana artifact deck commanded by Traxos, Scourge of Kroog. The strategy leverages a dense suite of colorless mana rocks, cost reducers, and specialty utility lands (such as the Urza's land package and Urza's Saga) to accelerate Traxos onto the battlefield by Turn 3 or 4. Because virtually every nonland card in the deck is historic, untapping Traxos to bypass its untap restriction is effortless and repeatable. Once online, Traxos applies relentless 7-power trample commander pressure, supported by equipment like Mithril Coat, Tarrian's Soulcleaver, and unblockability from Manifold Key. In the mid-to-late game, the deck scales into catastrophic colorless payoffs, including Eldrazi titans (Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Emrakul, the Exigent Doom) and asymmetric sweepers like All Is Dust. While vulnerable to mass artifact removal and lacking instant-speed stack interaction, the deck delivers massive board presence and high resiliency.
