Deck overview

This deck is a Bant big-mana creature stompy strategy led by Helga, Skittish Seer. The primary game plan accelerates Helga onto the battlefield on Turn 2 using one-mana mana dorks. Once in play, Helga turns every creature spell with mana value 4 or greater (and sizable X-cost hydras) into a cantrip, life buffer, and permanent power boost. As Helga grows, her tap ability produces large bursts of mana to chain multiple massive beaters such as Primordial Hydra, Apex Devastator, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The deck protects its board state and disrupts opposing wins using a dense package of twelve counterspells alongside versatile exile removal like Swords to Plowshares and Farewell. Lethal damage is delivered across multiple combat steps, often accelerated by Akroma's Will for unblockable double strike. While vulnerable to board wipes and lacking creature tutors, Helga's relentless card draw and scaling mana engine sustain high-tempo pressure throughout the game.
