Deck overview

This deck modernizes the classic Psychatog archetype by pairing Temmet, Naktamun's Will with Agatha's Soul Cauldron, Psychatog, and Psychic Frog. Operating primarily in Esper colors, the strategy utilizes efficient cantrips, self-discard, and targeted entomb effects to stock the graveyard. On Turn 4, the deck reliably deploys Temmet or cheats a high-impact threat such as Toxrill, the Corrosive or Hullbreaker Horror onto the battlefield. Critical onset occurs on Turn 5, where Temmet leverages burst card draw and graveyard exile to threaten immediate one-hit commander eliminations. The remaining table is closed over two additional turn cycles through evasion and oppressive creature attrition. While vulnerable to graveyard interaction and well-timed instant-speed spot removal, redundant reanimation packages and efficient defensive countermagic ensure resilient, steady execution.
