knights by bpgaming

Format: Commander

Commander: Éowyn, Shieldmaiden

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Eowyn, Shieldmaiden is a Jeskai Human/Knight token-aggro commander. The deck's primary plan is to play a cheap Human, cast Eowyn, convert her trigger into two hasty 2/2 Knights, then turn the wide board sideways with Shared Animosity, Kinsbaile Cavalier, or Moonshaker Cavalry. Secondary paths are token sorceries like Forth Eorlingas!, Secure the Wastes, and the Siege Invasion of New Phyrexia//Teferi Akosa, plus legendary-tutor packages. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Eowyn's front face. It can win by a single alpha strike once total board and pump effects are in place, but it is vulnerable to board wipes and has no counterspell protection.
