Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck leverages Shanna, Purifying Blade to translate lifegain triggers into substantial card draw. Early turns focus on establishing mana ramp and passive lifegain permanents such as Essence Warden, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, and Pristine Talisman. Once Shanna enters on Turn 3, she draws 2 to 3 cards every end step, rapidly expanding resources. The deck scales board presence using +1/+1 counter engines like Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Trelasarra, Moon Dancer, and Cleric Class, supported by legendary tutoring via Captain Sisay. Victory is achieved either by resolving Felidar Sovereign at 40+ life for an upkeep win or executing wide combat swings powered by Odric, Lunarch Marshal, Galadriel, Light of Valinor, and Full Steam Ahead. An infinite lifegain loop with Famished Paladin and Resplendent Mentor provides additional inevitability, while Teferi's Protection and Grand Abolisher safeguard key execution windows.
