Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Yisan, the Wanderer Bard to tutor utility creatures and heavy beaters directly from the library to the battlefield. In the early game, it establishes a solid mana base through basic Forests and low-cost ramp such as Elvish Mystic and Emerald Medallion. Once Yisan enters on Turn 3, it activates each turn to climb the verse ladder, retrieving answers like Manglehorn and Druid of Purification alongside draw engines like Toski, Bearer of Secrets. By Turn 6, the deck transitions into a lethal threat by deploying massive trample enablers like End-Raze Forerunners, Old One Eye, or Unnatural Growth. While the deck features strong permanent interaction and dense instant-speed protection like Gaea's Gift, its lack of stack interaction and reliance on fair verse climbing leave it vulnerable to fast combos and exile sweepers. Overall, it is a resilient, stompy toolbox deck that closes games reliably through decisive combat steps by Turn 7.
