Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros go-wide token strategy commanded by Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival. The game plan revolves around turning impulse card advantage—exiling cards to play them—into a steady army of 1/1 flying Thopters that enter with haste. By deploying low-cost impulse draw spells, exile-based card engines, and Treasure generators, the deck rapidly fills exile and converts every play into evasive board presence. Anthems such as Intangible Virtue, Chief of the Foundry, and Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer scale this flying swarm into lethal combat damage, while cards like Unstable Amulet and Brazen Cannonade supply supplemental reach. The deck features strong redundancy for its core impulse engine but runs lean on stack interaction and board wipe protection, requiring disciplined timing to close out games before opposing sweepers land.
