Deck overview

This Orzhov enchantment deck uses Killian, Decisive Mentor to combine aggressive Aura voltron tactics with continuous goad control. Killian reduces the cost of targeted spells and triggers whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield, tapping and goading opposing threats while drawing cards whenever enchanted creatures attack. The deck dictates combat by forcing opponents to attack one another with their own best creatures, protected behind defensive taxes like Ghostly Prison and Eriette of the Charmed Apple. Cost reducers like Danitha Capashen, Paragon and Starfield Mystic accelerate Aura deployment, buffing Killian or generating Pegasus armies with Archon of Sun's Grace. The primary win route applies compounding combat damage with evasive Auras such as Angelic Destiny and Eldrazi Conscription, supported by asymmetric wipes like Winds of Rath. For an alternate finish, the deck includes a two-card infinite drain combo between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Enduring Tenacity.
