Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green Stompy strategy commanded by Gargos, Vicious Watcher. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the opening turns via efficient mana dorks to deploy Gargos ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once assembled, Gargos provides a massive {4} mana reduction on Hydra spells and turns any targeted spell—including your own buff and protection spells—into immediate fight removal. The deck capitalizes on power-based card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond to maintain card flow while deploying huge threats such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Voracious Hydra, and Elder Gargaroth. Victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage, amplified by trample and stat multipliers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth, closing out the game across Turns 6 to 7.
