Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie Aristocrats combo strategy led by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. The primary game plan revolves around generating continuous creature tokens through Wilhelt and death triggers, utilizing them for substantial card advantage via engines like Undead Augur and Skullclamp. Once the midgame is established, the deck transitions into game-ending infinite sacrifice combos. The main winning line utilizes Rooftop Storm with Gravecrawler and a free sacrifice outlet such as Carrion Feeder or Ashnod's Altar, dealing lethal life loss to all opponents via drain payoffs like Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, and Vengeful Dead. An alternate win condition involves Poppet Stitcher flipping into Poppet Factory, removing decayed from Wilhelt's Zombie tokens to create an infinite death loop. Supported by robust graveyard recursion, selective tutoring, and cheap countermagic, the deck recovers quickly from board wipes while presenting a decisive same-turn kill on Turn 6.
