Deck overview

This Dimir deck merges high-velocity spellslinger mechanics with tribal Wraith synergy under Lord of the Nazgûl. Accelerated by top-tier fast mana like Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and Dark Ritual, the deck aims to deploy its commander on Turn 3 or 4. Once on the battlefield, casting cheap instants, sorceries, and Ring-tempting spells floods the board with 3/3 menace Wraith tokens. The 9 included copies of Nazgûl rapidly buff the entire Wraith army whenever the Ring tempts the player. Continuous draw engines like The One Ring, Rhystic Study, and Archmage Emeritus maintain card velocity, while free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Force of Will protects the board. The deck closes games around Turn 6 by resolving asymmetric wipes such as Raise the Palisade or triggering the commander's 9/9 stat buff to deliver lethal combat damage across all three opponents.
