Deck overview

This deck is an Esper reanimator and token engine led by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. Hashaton turns any discarded creature card into a 4/4 black Zombie token copy for {2}{U}. The deck accelerates through low-cost mana rocks on turns 1-2, deploys Hashaton on turn 2 or 3, and utilizes efficient discard enablers like Psychic Frog, Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator, and Tortured Existence to cheat high-cost monsters like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Ashen Rider into play on turn 4. In addition to commander token generation, traditional reanimation lines via Reanimate and Victimize provide independent angles of attack. Asymmetric resource denial from Praetors cripples opponents' development while a growing army of 4/4 Zombies and life-drain engines like The Scarab God and Wayward Servant close out the table by turn 6.
