Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan dual-tribal token and aristocrats strategy commanded by Olag and Miau, New Friends. The game plan focuses on generating large swarms of Cat and Zombie creature tokens to fuel cross-tribal +1/+1 counter distribution and asymmetric end-step life drain. Early turns establish mana acceleration through token-friendly converters like Cryptolith Rite and Insidious Roots, quickly transitioning into mid-game token generators such as Leonin Warleader, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, and Gisa, the Hellraiser. Once the commander enters, attacking with your army or tapping them for mana converts wide boards directly into unblockable life loss for all opponents. Redundant win conditions like Throne of the God-Pharaoh, Corpse Knight, and Sovereign Okinec Ahau ensure the deck applies overwhelming pressure even if the commander is removed. Efficient removal and card draw engines like Skullclamp maintain resource parity and board control throughout the match.
