Trouble with the Trees by Shayshine

Format: Commander

Commander: Yedora, Grave Gardener

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yedora, Grave Gardener is a mono-green lands-matter recursion engine. The primary plan is to let creatures die, turn them into face-down Forests, then animate those lands with earthbend and landfall effects to make huge trampling attackers. Secondary paths are a face-down package (Ugin's Mastery, Hauntwoods Shrieker) that flips Yedora's Forests back into creatures, and a deterministic loop with Embodiment of Insight, a sacrifice outlet, and Earthbender Ascension that puts arbitrarily many +1/+1 counters on a hasty land creature. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild acts as a hidden commander, making every creature a Forest and supercharging mana, Quirion Ranger, and Badgermole Cub. The commander provides recursion and ramp, but the deck can still function without it through earthbend.
