Commander: The Madcap Jester

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Madcap Jester leads a Grixis theft deck that wins by exiling opponents' libraries and casting their cards. The commander's attack trigger is the primary engine, and the 99 is built to multiply that effect with permanents like Prosper, Tome-Bound, Stolen Strategy, and Dragon's Smile. Secondary paths are free-cast attacks from Etali, Primal Storm and Plargg and Nassari, and a late-game stolen-board swing powered by Don Andres, the Renegade and Spider-Verse. Prosper acts as a hidden commander, generating Treasures for every spell cast from exile. Among the modal double-faced cards, the deck favors the back faces-Tibalt, Nassari, Warped Space, and Omenkeel-because they provide repeatable exile advantage; the front faces are situational.
