Commander: Muddle, the Ever-Changing

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An Izzet commander-combat deck that treats Muddle, the Ever-Changing as a one-shot copy enabler. Casting any cheap instant or sorcery lets Muddle become a myriad copy of the best nonlegendary creature on the battlefield. The main kill is Fiendish Duo: on the lethal turn, Muddle plus two myriad tokens creates three identical damage-doubling replacement effects, so a single 5-damage hit to each opponent becomes 40. Port Razer acts as the informal hidden commander for the extra-combat fallback, and Corporeal Projection, Twinflame, and Rite of Replication back up the plan when Muddle is unavailable. Cheap cantrips, Treasure producers, and draw spells keep the deck from depending on a single topdeck.
