Deck overview

This Golgari Wolf tribal deck is led by Chief of the Wilds, which grows whenever Wolves enter and doubles the triggered abilities of your other Wolves and Battles. The deck develops mana on early turns, casts its commander on Turn 4, and follows up with high-impact Wolf engines like Tovolar's Huntmaster and Hollowhenge Overlord. Doubled triggers quickly turn small token generators into an overwhelming board presence. Battles such as Invasion of Ikoria and Invasion of Zendikar provide extra value by finding lands or creatures twice upon entering. Asymmetric board wipes like Crippling Fear and Kindred Dominance clear opposing blockers while leaving your Wolf pack intact. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide combat swings backed by power doublers like Unnatural Growth or commander damage from an oversized Chief.
