Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a midrange poison and proliferate strategy designed to infect every opponent early and steadily escalate their poison totals to 10. By leveraging low-cost toxic and infect creatures alongside non-combat poison sources like Prologue to Phyresis and Ichor Rats, the deck seeds poison counters across the entire table without needing to deal 40 combat damage per player. Once poison is established, Atraxa, Praetors' Voice works in tandem with engines like Evolution Sage, Contaminant Grafter, and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus to proliferate every turn cycle. A complementary suite of planeswalkers, stun effects, and attack tax enchantments (Propaganda, Ghostly Prison) stabilizes the board and insulates life totals, while high-impact cards like Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and Radstorm accelerate the poison clock toward a decisive simultaneous table elimination.
