Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-token midrange and stompy deck piloted by Aerid Konstrari. The strategy accelerates on Turns 1 through 3 with efficient mana dorks and ramp spells to deploy Aerid by Turn 4. Aerid provides immediate value by creating mana-producing Heartwood tokens on entry and death, while threatening massive single-target pump activations. The 99 enhances this engine using token generators like Tireless Provisioner and Academy Manufactor, alongside incidental burn from Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist. The deck transitions into a lethal win attempt around Turn 5 by resolving massive overrun threats like Depthshaker Titan, Craterclaw Colossus, or Displaced Dinosaurs, which animate or pump tokens into overwhelming trampling attackers. While light on reactive stack interaction and dedicated stax pieces, the list possesses remarkable engine recovery thanks to Aerid's death trigger and strong functional redundancy among its high-end threats.
