Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy led by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan focuses on casting resilient, synergistic Zombie creatures, developing mana, and deploying Gisa to convert large creatures into massive armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Once a wide board is established, tribal lords such as Death Baron, Cemetery Reaper, and Undead Warchief pump the tokens for lethal combat damage, while drain engines like Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel bypass enemy blockers. Graveyard recursion cards like Gravecrawler, Lord of the Undead, and Oversold Cemetery provide resilience against board wipes, and creature-control engines like Noxious Ghoul keep opposing boards clear. The deck's primary limitations are its vulnerability to sweepers due to a lack of haste enablers or instant protection, zero stack interaction, and an inability to remove artifacts.
