Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green tribal stompy strategy led by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan revolves around casting inexpensive 2-mana Bears during the opening turns, accelerating mana through efficient land search spells, and landing the commander on Turn 4. Once assembled, Beorn turns any creature into a Bear, provides trample counters, gives an anthem of +2/+2 to all Bears, and draws 2 extra cards at every combat step when controlling at least 3 Bears. The deck converts this massive card advantage and board presence into game-ending pressure around Turn 6 by resolving large overrun spells such as Overwhelming Stampede, Preposterous Proportions, or Become the Avalanche. While the deck features outstanding card flow and resilient board rebuilds, it remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and relies almost entirely on combat damage to eliminate opponents across successive turns.
