Deck overview

This deck commands Eriette of the Charmed Apple to lead an Orzhov enchantress strategy blending life-drain attrition with an impenetrable pillowfort defense. Eriette neutralizes dangerous opposing attackers by turning cheap Auras like Darksteel Mutation and Spirit Link into unilateral pacification tools that prevent enchanted creatures from attacking you. As opponents are forced to direct their combat elsewhere, Eriette siphons their life totals every end step. Card draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Mesa Enchantress keep resources flowing, while defensive stalwarts like Sphere of Safety and Ghostly Prison price opponents out of attacking entirely. The deck achieves victory by assembling the infinite combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Enduring Tenacity, draining all opponents from 40 to 0 instantly upon any life total change. Protective layers including Greater Auramancy and Teferi's Protection shield the board from interaction.
