Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos synergy build focused on Smaug the Impenetrable. The strategy centers on leveraging Smaug's indestructible body to convert noncombat damage into massive Treasure generation. Cards like Pyrohemia allow the pilot to trigger Smaug repeatedly, turning each point of damage into mana and initiating a lethal loop when paired with drain payoffs like Mirkwood Bats or Reckless Fireweaver. The rest of the deck supports this plan with early ramp, artifact synergy creatures, and high-damage sweepers such as Blasphemous Act and Chain Reaction that clear opposing boards while generating double-digit Treasure counts. While the deck possesses a fast same-turn win once assembled, it relies heavily on reaching 7 mana for its commander and lacks stack interaction or protection against exile removal.
