Tasigur control by Paoloestathe

Format: Commander

Commander: Tasigur, the Golden Fang

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Sultai control deck leverages Tasigur, the Golden Fang as a recurrent value engine while packing one of the densest instant-speed interaction suites in the format. The primary game plan is to dominate the stack with 20+ counterspells, control the board with efficient removal, then deploy a compact two-card win condition-Demonic Consultation into Jace, Wielder of Mysteries-to empty the library and win on the spot. Backup plans include Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath beatdown, Hullbreaker Horror as an uncounterable lock piece, and Psychic Frog growing into a relentless attacker. Tasigur himself provides a repeatable way to mill and recur nonland cards, turning the graveyard into a second hand while opponent choice limits the reliability. The deck is built for a long, interactive game where it out-resources and out-counters its opponents before striking with a tight combo finish.
